Trainee Locator/Surveyor
This excellent new opportunity to become a part of our growing Utilities Locating and Surveying team will allow a Trainee/Junior Utility Locator to learn and develop skills sets through our in-depth internal trainings and exposure to mid to large scale projects from concept design to construction stages.
The role is full-time and predominantly field based, in which you will be able to draw on your demonstrated experience in a similar position.
To be considered for this position it is vital that you are willing to obtain the below requirements:
- Experience in underground asset location to determine location, orientation and depth (Class B, C and D)
- Understanding of Australian Standard AS5488-2019 for Subsurface Utility Identification
- Accuracy interpreting DBYD plans / service authority records
- Learn to use a radio detection and / or GPR equipment
- Learn CCTV operation for drainage inspection
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Understanding / use of QA systems
- A diligent attitude towards accuracy, efficiency and safety; and
- Construction White Card
- Dial Before You Dig accreditation
- Current Tasmanian Manual driver’s licence

Certified DBYD Locator
This is an excellent opportunity for a Certified DBYD Utility Locator to become a part of our growing Utilities Locating and Surveying team.
The role is full-time and predominantly field based, in which you will be able to draw on your demonstrated experience in a similar position.
To be considered for this position it is vital that you have the below requirements:
- Experience in underground asset location, with the ability to determine location, orientation and depth (Class B, C and D)
- Knowledge and understanding of Australian Standard AS5488-2019 for Subsurface Utility Identification
- Ability to accurately interpret DBYD plans / service authority records
- Ability to use a radio detection and / or GPR equipment
- Knowledge and ability on CCTV operation for drainage inspection
